Williamston is a town in Anderson County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 3,791 at the 2000 census. Nestled in the Foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the scenic Upstate, Williamston is a thriving area with
industrial, commercial, and tourist activity. Its proximity to the I-85 business corridor and metropolitan areas make it a great place to live, work and play.
