Intriguingly, the flag as shown at Wikipedia
has a considerably darker red stripe than the Coat of Arms, though as usual, that
should possibly be taken with a pinch of salt. Though red and white are
common colours on Polish flags (and eastern European flags in general)
I can't help noting the similarity with the proposed flag of Belarus.
