Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
In a red shield upon the central chief point is a golden (= yellow) bell. Below is a silver willow tree having three branches surrounding the bell.
According to source the bell is symbolizing the church, which had been rebuilt in the 19th century and the old church bell from 1473. The willow tree is symbolizing the numerous trees of that species on the village's territory and is furthermore symbolizing basketry. The number of branches is symbolizing the villages forming the muncipality.
