Coat of Arms

Description of coat of arms:
The shield is divided per fess. Above in a silver (=white) field is a red jumping stag, below in a red field is a silver (= white) medlar blossom flanked by three T-shaped objects of the same colour.
Meaning:
According to source the upper part of the arms is taken from the arms of the lords of Issum. The deer appeared on seals of Issum since 1664. The lower part is taken from the arms of Sevelen. The T-shaped objects, called Antonius crosses are alluding to St.Anthony. The medlar is symbolizing the dukes of Geldern.
